We have really loved living here and will genuinely be sad to leave. The house is quiet, light and warm - visitors often comment on how calm it feels. It works beautifully for both dinner parties with friends and cosy nights in. And practically, everything just works so well - heating, water pressure, storage, and layout - it’s an easy house to live in.

The location is second to none, with the fantastic independent shops, pubs, and cafes on Portland Road. As well as two train stations within 10 minutes’ walk, and frequent buses into town. There’s a real sense of community in Poets Corner, especially on our road - regular neighbour get-togethers and street parties with lovely people.

In summer, we enjoy breakfast in our sun-trap south-facing garden and evening BBQs. A typical weekend starts with coffee from 44 Poets in bed overlooking the church, followed by a stroll to the beach or Hove Park, and a roast dinner at one of the excellent local pubs.
