For a TRUE perspective of the joys of owning 'Furzedown' here is the current owners view - 'Why Walliswood?' We’ve had 10 wonderful years here at Furzedown. From Spring and Summer cycling and hiking, to Autumn and Winter welly walks along pretty bridleways that lead to numerous lovely local pubs, who welcome muddy puppies with a roaring fire and a good selection of food and drink.

Fancy being a little more chic, there are small local towns on the door step for brunches with friends and sociable evenings out and two great gin distilleries or a couple of breweries, if a cheeky tipple is more what you crave.

Walliswood, has a friendly local village feel, with a village hall offering two quiz nights a year a summer music festival and Halloween pumpkin carving, and carols around the tree, join in as much or as little as you want to, but you’ll be welcomed to the community. If you are looking for hobbies and clubs there are a couple of thriving local cricket teams, two local golf courses, book clubs, yoga, am-dram and much more all in the surrounding villages.

We’ve been lucky to create a home here at Furzedown that allows us to relax and enjoy being surrounded by nature, a space to relax and unwind after a busy week. We are going to be sad to leave, but its time for us to start our next adventures and know that Furzedown will provide a warm happy home for the next family living here.'
