Nestling in Russett Wood is our family home a one-bedroom ground floor apartment surrounded by a tree lined avenue and a stone’s throw to scenic walks and bike trails this area has so much to offer we fell in love with it and knew this would make the ideal first home for us.
Upon entering you are greeted with a spacious long hallway which has two built-in cupboard with ample storage.
We have a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of worktop and cupboard space. We have a small table so use this as a kitchen/diner which is ideal for our family life.
Leading on from the kitchen is our lounge where we relax and enjoy movie nights, we have a few good size sofas and have the perfect space to relax and unwind. The large window lets in lots of natural light, so it is enjoyable to relax and unwind with a good book during the summer months taking in the beautiful views.
Our bedroom is a good size double.
The family bathroom is again of a generous size with a bath and overhead shower.
Surrounding our flat is communal gardens which can be enjoyed sitting out having a picnic or just to get some fresh air. We have ample off-street parking. There is a bike storage area as well as storage cupboard allocated to each flat.
Our home is just perfectly situated in an area offering nature walks, bike trails and an abundance of countryside. We have Panshanger Park a short walk away which is 1,000 acres with beautiful views. We have Moors Walk a short trip away which has a pharmacy, post office, supermarket, takeaways barber and salon to name just a few of the amenities! We have the main town of Welwyn Garden city with the train station and high-speed links to London within half an hour as well as an array of restaurants and bars. We are in the catchment area to good local schools and have so much we been yet to explore even after all these years. The neighbours are all friendly and it is a lovely place to come home too every night.
The time has come for pastures new and to let someone else enjoy all this home has to offer.
